Lighthouse' core activities comprise the provision of services to Independent Financial Advisers (IFA's) and pension scheme administrators with clients throughout the UK.

These services are delivered through the Group's main divisions, LighthouseCarrwood, LighthouseTemple, LighthouseWealth, LighthouseXpress, City Trustees, Group Employee Benefits, Falcon and FSAS.

LighthouseCarrwood is the Group salaried advisor division, formed following the acquisition of the Carrwood Group. LighthouseCarrwood advisers trade with accountancy practices with which the group has introductory arrangements.

LighthouseTemple is a National IFA operating throughout the UK. As well as a full geographical representation 'National' means that the Group legally owns the trading brand, the clients and the income deriving from them although the advisers are all self employed.

LighthouseWealth was created in November 2005 out of Lighthouse Independent Financial Advisers Limited and is based in the City of London. LighthouseWealth advisers continue to develop their proposition to High Net Worth clients, researching and delivering advice on a range of sophisticated investments suited to the needs of wealthy individuals and professionals.

LighthouseXpress is the Group's network division. The Group provides regulatory cover, professional indemnity insurance and collects income due on behalf of own branded sole trading IFA's. LighthouseXpress is FSA regulated and supports each of the Group's IFA and Wealth Management focussed divisions in the areas of regulation and supervision.

City Trustees, acquired as part of the Carrwood transaction, administers Self Invested Personal Pensions (SIPPs) and Small Self Administered Schemes (SSAS) and hold corporate trustee status. City Trustees also provides a value added services for clients of the Group's other divisions.

Group Employee Benefits focusses on the group personal pension and associated protection products markets.

Falcon is a Premium Wealth Management National and Network IFA, acquired at the time of the merger with Sumus plc.

FSAS is a Scottish based Network also acquired at the time of the merger with Sumus plc.
